We had a fun birthday dinner here with the family. The hibachi chef was very interactive, talented with his showmanship and cooked us great food. We ended up with orders of chicken, shrimp, filet mingon, and scallop hibachi. The shrimp and scallops were my favorite especially dipped in the ginger sauce. My husband is a huge fan of anything fried rice and he raved about how this was the best he has had ever. I adore noodles so was really happy you get to have both and not just have to choose rice like other places. We ordered some sushi to try, even though our sushi experiences have been limited and not successful. However, my sister who knows this stuff, helped us choose. Boy, was it a hit. Almost everyone tried them and liked it! That's a pretty big deal for the people we were with. Anyways, we got the Lobster roll and one that I can't remember the name as it was on a special sushi menu. However, it was pretty similar to the Halloween roll.

Very good and fresh food : sashimis, sushis and rolls. Nice japenese decoration with asian music. Everything's perfect except the service. The waiter seemed stressed , very rough. We asked for an extra beer and wait for a long time to get it. A place to go , but ,please, hire more smiling and competent waiters!

My boyfriend and I went on a date about 2 weeks ago here, the sushi is amazing its so good I loved it! We got the tigers eye and California roll and octopus sushi and a salmon roll as wells as the fried tempura ice cream everything was good it was only $30 for us to eat and our waitress was great! We loved the atmosphere usually in a habachi/sushi joint the two are in the same room separated by a space between tables however they had the sushi part and habachi in separate rooms! I loved that about Osaka! Usually the habachi gets a little to loud but it was surprisingly quiet since it was in a completely separate rooms! The only reason I won't give Osaka a 5 star rating is because when you walk in there is a nice coi pond it's large and pretty but the filtration system was off or maybe broken the water was cloudy and a little gross, being that I adore fish that was kind of a turn off for us. But as soon as they get that filter fixed and their little coi fish are happy again I will be one highly satisfied customer! I definitely recommend their sushi!

The building is very nice, very elegant. We had tuna sashimi which was not fresh and a very strange fishy taste, I had the lunch bento box and the chicken was very hard and dry.... The seafood puff was alright would have been better with a little ell and spicy mayo like I'm use to but other than that I will not go back!

I am a sushi fanatic! This place was awesome! The restaurant was very nice with a great ambiance. Pricing was much better than usual. Definitely a must try!

Service was good. Onion soup and spring rolls were delicious, sweet & sour sauce was a little too vinegary for my taste. I ordered the filet mignon lunch special and my sister ordered the New York steak and scallops. We both had to add salt, pepper and soy sauce. Very bland. The price is really reasonable.

Needs more workers but other than that, GREAT!! Our waitress was AMAZING!!! April is her name! Very clean and the sushi rolls were delicious! Love the vibe!

Had a buddy that had never been to a hibachi before. He enjoyed it... me, not so much. I think their sushi is actually better than what came off the grill... we were served fried rice and then our orders. I had teriyaki beef, which was pretty good, and yakisoba, which was worse than the "yakasobi" I had in basic training. Our waitress was excellent and was very professional at handling my friend's drunken flirting. I'd be willing to go back and see what's up with the chirashizushi.

Gorgeous new restaurant! I had read that it was really nice inside, but you would never know from its strip mall location on Gerstner. Osaka has both sushi and hibachi. We ordered four different rolls, all very good. My favorite was the fire dragon roll that had avocado, snow crab and topped with spicy crawfish. Ordered the Yaki Udon for my kids and it looked yummy too. I would definitely recommend for business lunches, date night, ladies night out and plenty of room for large parties.
